I lived there for a year and 9 months and thought it would be helpful to provide my review as accurately as possible. I will just list the pros and cons… Pros: NICE LOCATION: - quiet area, easy commute to Baltimore, Annapolis, DC Nice property: huge front yard, nice backyard that has patio, pool, hot tub, woods, nature Cons: DISREPAIR: the house is underpowered for 12 adults (breakers trip all the time), broken gutters, old and inadequate appliances, no stove exhaust fan (smoke alarm blares when cooking), broken mower (tenants have to do all yard work), etc TOO MANY PEOPLE: 12 guys in a house this size is too many, too much going on, laundry is a struggle to squeeze in, kitchen is way too small, gossip, rumors, liars, thieves, messy people, etc BED BUGS: if you like bed bugs, you’ll love this place.. it’s infested with them and the landlord is too cheap to hire a professional exterminator to get rid of them. He makes the tenants deal with it themselves. Good luck with that. UNPROFESSIONAL LANDLORD: incompetent, young, rich, entitled.. you know the type. He comes by now and then to collect rent and check everyone’s rooms, dish out hefty fines for whatever, doesn’t address complaints about problems with maintenance, disrespectfully accuses people of doing things that they didn’t do and punish them for it, etc I hope this helps with your decision, and most importantly, stay sober.
